BTC 32 Main Event Announcement

Ontario’s premier MMA organization, BTC Fight Promotions, is back in Niagara Falls for an explosive night of action. BTC 32: The Battle of Lundy’s Lane takes place Saturday, September 13th, 2025, at the Americana Resort, featuring a stacked card of rising stars, seasoned veterans, and a high-stakes championship showdown.

The main event of the evening will crown a new BTC Welterweight Champion as Clay Pye (5-0) collides with Thiago Oliveira (17-14-1). Pye has been unstoppable since debuting in the BTC cage, racking up four consecutive wins, including three knockouts and quickly establishing himself as one of the promotion’s most dangerous finishers. The undefeated prospect is looking to keep his perfect record intact and capture his first professional title. Oliveira, meanwhile, brings a wealth of experience into the cage, with over 30 professional fights and 11 career finishes. The veteran from Porto Alegre, Brazil, last fought in BTC against Adam Assenza in a back-and-forth bout that ended in a draw, proving he can hang with the very best. With Pye’s youth and knockout power colliding against Oliveira’s grit and experience, fans can expect an explosive battle for gold.

The co-main event features a lightweight clash between Adam “Maverick” Assenza (18-9-1) and Gustavo “Show Man” Wurlitzer (25-31). Assenza is one of the most decorated fighters in BTC history and holds the all-time record for finishes inside the promotion. Known for his aggressive style and ability to close the show, Assenza has won multiple regional titles and remains one of Canada’s most respected lightweights. Wurlitzer is a veteran of the sport with over 50 professional bouts and an incredible 22 finishes among his victories. The “Show Man” has faced tough competition throughout his career and always brings a dangerous mix of experience and unpredictability. With both men known for finishing fights, this matchup is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

Also on the card is rising Canadian talent Alana “The Alanamal” Cook (4-2) facing off against UFC veteran Vanessa “Miss Simpatia” Melo (11-12) in a women’s bout that promises fireworks. Cook, currently ranked #2 P4P in Canada on Tapology and has two victories inside the BTC Fight cage. Vanessa Melo brings notable victories over UFC standouts Sarah Moras and Molly McCann. This is a classic match-up of rising talent and experienced veteran that we love to see on the local scene.

The amateur card is equally stacked, headlined by Aiden Appel (4-0) versus Hudson Adair (3-1). Appel, who has finished all four of his victories including a 3rd-round TKO in his BTC debut over Samir Djouma. Appel represents Niagara Top Team’s and has shown the potential to be their next rising star. In his way is no small tes in Sarnia’s Hudson Adair. He earned a gritty 2nd-round TKO in the co-main event at BTC 28 in his hometown and is ready to prove himself in a high-stakes battle of rising talent.
