“BTC 34: Iron Forged” heads to the Hammer on Saturday, November 8th at the Hamilton Convention Centre, marking our fourth pro event of the year, and our first time bringing MMA to the city. We are excited to expand on Hamilton’s long legacy in the history of Canadian MMA. With a title fight on the line, expect high stakes, top-tier athletes and all the energy BTC Fight Promotions is known for.

PROFESSIONAL BOUTS

MAIN EVENT: JOSH HILL vs. EDSON LOURENCO

Hamilton’s own Josh “The Gentleman” Hill makes his long-awaited return to the cage in front of a hometown crowd. A staple of Canadian MMA and the nation’s top bantamweight for nearly a decade, Hill brings veteran experience, knockout power, and a relentless drive to prove he’s still among the elite. Known for his composure and technical precision, Hill’s well-rounded skill set and fight IQ make him one of the toughest tests for any challenger.

Standing in his way is Brazil’s Edson Lourenço, a dangerous finisher with a 92% finish rate and nine submission victories to his name. The São Paulo native has been steamrolling opponents across Brazil and now looks to make a statement on Canadian soil. Lourenço’s aggressive style and ability to end fights both on the feet and the mat ensure that Hill will have to be sharp from the opening bell.

Expect fireworks when these two seasoned warriors collide in the Hammer. Both athletes have everything to gain and nothing to lose in what promises to be a high-stakes, action-packed main event.

DAN SOPA vs. VICTOR BORDAGE

Victor Bordage returns to the cage following an impressive promotional debut at BTC 27 in Belleville, where he secured a dominant unanimous decision victory over Nate Small. The New Brunswick native looks to build on that momentum and continue climbing the bantamweight ladder with another strong performance.

Making his BTC debut, Dan Sopa enters the promotion with two professional finishes already under his belt, including a slick submission and a devastating head kick knockout. Known for his dynamic striking and composure under pressure, Sopa is eager to make an immediate impact on the BTC stage.

This bout features two rising bantamweight prospects with deep kickboxing backgrounds, each hungry to prove themselves among Canada’s best when they meet in the Hammer.

NATE MASON vs. NICKY HEINRICHS

Nate Mason makes his highly anticipated professional debut after a successful amateur career that saw him earn three victories, including two highlight-reel knockouts. Representing the next wave of Canadian talent, Mason now looks to make a statement as he steps onto the pro stage in front of his hometown crowd.

Across the cage, Nicky Heinrichs returns for his third BTC appearance, bringing experience and confidence into this matchup. Determined to halt the newcomer’s momentum, Heinrichs believes his well-rounded skill set and cage composure will give him the edge in this high-stakes showdown.

This promises to be a fast-paced and explosive matchup between two hungry competitors looking to make their mark in the Hamilton cage.
